I’m going to be sharing my opinion on a popular debate. Should kids have homework or not? I believe they shouldn’t. One reason for this is that homework stresses out kids. After a long day of school, where kids spend more time than their actual home, they have to go home and finish their homework. They barely see their parents because of this, and it’s not good for them. Also, kids should be allowed to relax a little. Maybe instead of no homework at all, classwork that kids don’t finish in class could be homework. That way, kids will be motivated to do their work in class, and they’ll be able to relax and see family and friends after school. There are some cons to this, though. You can argue that homework helps kids revise what they learned in class, and to test if kids can answer questions about the material without their teacher to help them.
